Marketing & Business Development

"Art is an exceptionally bright business development professional who worked with us to obtain funding, sales and tangibles to help get our $77 M project back to life, as well as working on several other projects together.  Art handled many of our projects, some as large as $77M, and others as small as $6 million. He is devoted to getting a company to grow.  He will work tirelessly to make this happen.  I have watched Art instigate growth, follow it through, take a step back, and then start all over again with more projects and ideas.  Art is high energy, diligent and will stick to the task until it is complete.  He multi-tasks well and uses his time effectively.  Art always had all reports, expense/cost related documents, whatever we asked for, immediately.  I would definitely work with Art again. "

"I have worked with Art on a significant case involving a real estate development and construction project, a banking relationship - and a complex partnership. Arts greatest strength is getting the job done.  He has good follow through and is a 'hell of an organizer' and in business development, a 'top notch closer'. He is  goal oriented and will work as many hours as it takes to get something done.  He is strong in knowing what is right from wrong. One thing, Art does not tolerate lazy people.  He believes that If you say you are going to do something, he expects nothing less than you getting it done. Art is a very intelligent person and catches on quickly.  I would take on a case with Art at any time.  The man has a great deal of integrity".

“In the Business Development Consulting business, reputation is stock in trade, and Art is most reliable. He has a deep-seated, sincere desire to help, to discover  the root of any problem and seek a remedy for it. He's willing to go way beyond what many are willing to do.  It's nice to come across someone who gives you more than you expect.”

"Mr. House , we want to express our sincere appreciation for your hard work and dedication ...  in facilitating the negotiated contract for Mizner Lakes Condo _ Hotel. This $125 Million contract is a Capstone project for us not just here in South Florida but, also for our Tower-OHL Group situated in Spain. The timing of this significant undertaking has come at a critical point in our growth and expansion. Your contribution to our success has earned you the distinction of being recognized as one of industry's foremost authorities in the field. Rarely does a professional understand the linear progression of the entire development picture from concept to turn-key. Please, do not hesitate to call on us for anything ... in the future."

"In Art's capacity, as our Business Development Consultant, his expertise has consistently resulted in new negotiated (CM) construction contracts for several very substantial restoration projects in Florida and overseas. I have found his extensive background in construction marketing and business development as key credentials in his ability to write new business. On all of the projects that I have worked on with him, I have found him to be highly skilled, sincere and dedicated to providing excellent, high quality service to not only his clients but, to all persons affiliated with the project at hand."

- Richard Kurzman, Pres. Double E Constructors

"If there ever was a man who could fall out of bed and catch a contract in his hand before his feet hit the ground; it's Art House. In a three year period of engagement, between 2005 and 2008, Mr. House personally, successfully negotiated more than $200 million in GC contracts, and additional CM at Risk contract fees of more than $1.5 million. He has an instinctive ability to get directly to the equitable center of proposed transactions - then come home with an executed contract. A lot of competitors would go into interviews armed with fancy presentations and fanfare. Art would go in with the solutions, and come out with the deal.

When our productive capacity became close to being outstripped of cash and liquidity, Art obtained working capital funds for us. We had a potential client temporarily incapable of moving forward on a $40 million project in Parker, Florida unless they could obtain investment sources. Art arranged an investment of $300,000 in cash to cover their needs and to fund our preconstruction soft-costs. Art then negotiated  with an institutional buyer for the sell-out of 25% of the proposed units for the developer. The project went forward and we received a $40 million contract for construction."

"We retained Art House in early 2009 to write our business development plan, together with a feasibility study and market analysis for our Fox Run project, a 36-unit residential development in Brunswick. Absent his meticulously detailed work, we would not have been able to proceed. With the professional documentation generated, from a completely open and objective viewpoint, we were armed with the necessary tools to obtain funding and to proceed. Fox Run was a small project of $8 million. Because of his work, we were successful in obtaining a commitment of funds to commence work. Not only did Mr. House make this project possible but, he did it again for us on our planned project The Refuge, which was a 113 unit planned unit development with a $13 million budget. We'll use the services of Mr. House again - and again."

                                                                                                            J. M. Murray Co. GA

"Art House sought funding for several projects we had under development, in the amount of $183 Million between 2007 and 2008. He was successful in finding funds where none seemed to exist. When we needed capital, we turned to Art. As a result, he was afforded the task of negotiating with construction professionals, Architects/Engineers & CM Firms, to place our work. All of which he did with the utmost of diligence and professionalism. As a major developer in the Southeastern Region of the US, we can assure that our future work will be going through Mr. House as well."

                                                                                                             Centurion Partners, FL

"As a result of our engagement with Mr. House, we were successful in finalizing and implementing development plans for our 521-Commerce Centre, a major flex-space facility. The feasibility study and market analysis, along with construction cost estimates and constructability analysis were instrumental in developing the basis for the projects' overall economic viability. We were successful in obtaining the commitment for funding immediately after we finalized our work with Mr. House. In this economic climate of 2008, that is almost unheard of. Without his assistance in obtaining the $15 million, we would not have been able to proceed."

"Art's greatest strengths are his energy, creativity and optimism.  He also has a great deal of humility and has a deep sense of civic responsibility, contributing in extensive ways to uplift others in need. Arts' greatest talents are in overcoming obstacles. I have watched Art pull together deals that I did not think were possible, but Art made them work.  I have received emails from Art as late as 2 or 3 AM, and then meet with him at 8AM.  You would never think he had been up that late; he is consistent in his professionalism and his high energy.  Art tries hard to always do the right thing by every body in the deal."
